The Boathouse
Standing in its own large garden, approached by a private drive. The Boathouse is a recently extended beautifully renovated holiday chalet offering peaceful and secluded accommodation in this famous area of West Dorset- The Jurassic Coast.
The Boathouse is located at the edge of the village of Charmouth in the heart of West Dorset and is the perfect place from which to explore the variety Dorset has to offer - The World Heritage Site of the Jurassic Coast famous for its fossils, the beautiful countryside and coastal walks, historic towns and villages, all sorts of sports and leisure facilities, National Trust properties etc etc....something for everyone.
The beach with its Heritage Coast Centre and Cafe and the shops, pubs and restaurants of Charmouth are all within walking distance.
We are 2 miles from Lyme Regis and owing to the landslips of recent years, the South West Coast Path has been redirected right past the entrance to Langmoor Manor and the Boathouse.
There are bus stops nearby and the mainline railway station of Axminster is 6 miles away.
Leading off the main area is a shower with large power shower, wash-basin, loo and airing cupboard.
The double aspect bedroom is fully furnished with Superking sized bed, wardrobe etc.
As there is one double bedroom, we provide folding beds, so young children are very welcome with their own sleeping bags.
The Boathouse is fully insulated to a very high standard and with electric heating throughout, is warm and comfortable whatever the weather outside.
Outside there is a partially covered decked area with garden furniture and a B-B-Q; the large garden is mainly laid to lawn and there is a small orchard.
